I greatly appreciate what you have done for my family and me. We had a great time sitting in the luxury suite watching the Warriors. Thank you for taking that off my kid bucket list and making my dreams come true.

-UCSF Patient

Our little boy James was diagnosed with leukemia (B-cell ALL) just over a year ago at the age of 5. We're a third of the way through active treatment at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital and while it is still a battle, we count our blessings every day. One of James's dreams was to go see the Warriors play basketball - through your generosity and care we saw them win against Orlando a few weeks ago. James was ecstatic! Thank you for keeping Nicholas's memory alive and spreading joy throughout the lives of these children who are fighting every day.

We want to thank the Nicholas (Colby Fund) for making it possible for our family to attend the concerts. Our lives changed once our son passed away from cancer. We thought we would never have fun again after his passing but with those experiences we found ourselves smiling once again. The Nicholas (Colby Fund) has brought joy to our family.

Thank you for the amazing night we had! My son Baylor and his sister Maddie have a memory of their first Warriors game that will absolutely never be forgotten. They felt like VIP's from the very beginning. When I put the kids down for bed I asked them if they had a good time? Maddie said "This was one of the best nights of my life!" Thank you for making a positive memory for my whole family after such a difficult year!

I had a conversation recently with a woman (whose daughter is a) 2016 Light The Night Honored Hero. Lyndsay was telling me about the incredible experience that they had through the Nicholas Colby Fund, and she was practically star-struck when I mentioned that your family was involved with LLS and the Walk. It was clear that you had made an incredible, positive impact on (this) family.
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Thank you Nicholas Colby Fund for giving our almost 4 year old daughter Ariana an amazing night out at the Circus last night! It was the first time she has been out anywhere besides the hospital since February when she was first diagnosed. When we told her we were going to the Circus, she said, "Mommy, can I get out of the car?" She danced, and laughed and had the best time!

The Nicholas Colby Fund ®

Uplifts the spirits of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses creating opportunities to smile and enjoy the wonders of being a child.

It’s a continuing story of love, hope, caring, and inspiration. Cancer touched and took the life of a little boy, but it didn't take the spirit of a child full of hope and dreams. The hope he could feel like a normal child, the dreams of being free and simply playing & having fun.

Through special relationships with children's hospitals and organizations ranging from the Golden State Warriors professional basketball team, Samsonite international luggage company, local specialty markets like Diablo Foods, stores like Papyrus, and companies like ADMAC Digital Imaging, a unique community of people has been created enabling events & experiences to be delivered all year long to children.

And executives of the fund speak in corporate and community settings on behalf of research toward developing better treatments and finding cures for blood cancers.
